Oakstors Dark Evening Event - "Oisseen"
Welcome to Oisseen's page. Oisseen is pronounced
O'Sheen, and is Gaelic for "little wanderer". This
is very apt because, although we have 6 acres for the dogs
to play in, Oisseen still thinks it's more fun somewhere else
- and jumps our 5ft fence very often. Luckily we live in the
middle of nowhere and she just runs off into the woods or down
to the lakes, and there are very few roads - she's normally
back within half an hour. Her favourite hobby is chasing rabbits,
and she very often catches them - when she does she's very
thoughtful and brings them home for everyone to help her to
eat it!

Oisseen is very affectionate
with us but she really doesn't like strangers, and does everything
to get away from them. Once she has got to know them though she can't
get enough fuss - then you know you're really in, in this house.
